What We Collect

  • Email address — when you subscribe to the email course or download resources
  • Anonymous analytics — page views, device type, and navigation patterns through PostHog (cookieless, EU-hosted) and Vercel Analytics
  • Server logs — IP addresses are temporarily stored by Vercel for security and performance purposes

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds under GDPR Article 6:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — When you subscribe to our email course or download resources, you give explicit consent to receive emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate Interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — We use cookieless analytics (PostHog, Vercel Analytics) to understand how the presentation is used and improve it. This processing is minimal and does not override your rights.

How We Use Your Data

  • Send you the 5-day email course you signed up for
  • Deliver downloadable resources you requested
  • Improve the presentation based on usage patterns
  • Respond to your questions if you reply to emails

What We Don't Do

  • Sell or share your email with third parties
  • Send spam or promotional content unrelated to the course
  • Use cookies for tracking (our analytics are cookieless)

Your Rights Under GDPR

Under GDPR Articles 15–22, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of Access (Art. 15) — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to Rectification (Art. 16) — Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to Erasure (Art. 17) — Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Right to Restrict Processing (Art. 18) — Request that we limit how we use your data
  • Right to Data Portability (Art. 20) — Receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Right to Object (Art. 21) — Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Right to Withdraw Consent (Art. 7(3)) — Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing

Third-Party Services

  • UseINBOX — Email delivery (EU-based)
  • Vercel — Hosting, analytics, and server logs (may process IP addresses). Vercel Analytics collects anonymized page view data including page URL, referrer, browser type, operating system, device type, and country. No cookies are used. No personally identifiable information is collected.
  • PostHog — Product analytics (EU-hosted, cookieless, no personal data collected)

Data Retention

  • Active subscribers: stored until you unsubscribe
  • Unsubscribed users: deleted within 30 days
  • Consent records: retained for 3 years per legal requirements
  • Analytics data: retained for 13 months (anonymized)
  • Server logs: retained by Vercel per their data retention policy

Supervisory Authority

If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the EU member state of your habitual residence or place of work.
